He was my orthopedic doctor back in 1955. I contracted polio in October, 1954. It is because of him I am walking today. My current orthopedic doctor read doctor Schneider''s reports on polio and other orthopedic issues. Thank you and rest in peace.

A friend called to tell me of Dr. Schneider's passing. I have fond memories of working with Monroe. I was his medical assistant/secretary/x-ray tech from 1958 until 1963 in his office at 118 8th Ave. in Brooklyn. He was a wonderful physician, a true gentleman and I remember him with a smile.
