Read MoreWe were saddened to hear and our hearts go out to Monte's family. We spent many hrs together watching the boys play hockey. Monte was the most positive fun loving friend. We will be lighting a luminary for him in our relay for life on July 9th here in Maui. His legacy will live on.

I haven't seen Monte since high school, but I remember him clearly as one of the most respectable and down to earth individuals in our class. He was always kind and cordial to others, and his passing is truly a great loss to all who knew him.

Monte was about the nicest, friendliest and most polite of ALL our schoolmates, all the way from Salk Jr High through Shadle Park HS.
I had not seen him for many years, but genuinely Nice people like Monte, you just never forget!
