Not sure what to say?

Irene and Family: My heart breaks for your loss. Monte was a wonderful man. It took me awhile before I could add to this guest book, because words cannot express how I truly feel. Some of my happiest memories in my past include you all - Irene, Monte and family. The vacations we took, the times we spent together - I will cherish always. What I remember most is the fierce love Monte had for his family - It is one of a kind. You as a family were truly blessed to have him for such a short...

Monte always had a friendly smile and a handshake for his buddies at the Arizona National Guard. As an MP Monte was a stand up guy and a great soldier. It was always a pleasure to be with him on drills and summer camps. As a TPD police officer Monte was a prototype of a trusted peace officer. He was a great role model for young Latinos and his buddies. At ease Monte.

Dear Irene and Gonzales Family, our sincerest condolences upon your loss. May God bless and comfort you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Marittza (Grijalva) McKim and George McKim

My tata was an amazing man who was loved by so mamy. There isn't a summer I don't remember spending with him and my nana in the mountains. We always stopped at the same restaurant to eat and he pulled over at the same road just before Trout Creek to grab a drink to celebrate our arrival. I remember when we were younger my tata loved to call us and say he was Little Johnny, the neighbor. We always knew it was him but he kept on talking and would never admit to us it was him. I have so many...

My heartfelt condolences to Monte's family and friends. I am a retired City of Tucson employee and worked at the Tucson Police Dept. for 24 years. During that time I had the privilege of working with Monte and I, too, soon became a friend, due mostly to Monte's upbeat, easygoing and down-to earth personality. Until his retirement in 2008, I felt I was Monte's friend first and coworker second. I ran into Monte at Walmart last August, just as the heat of Tucson's hot summer days were...

Wherever you went as soon as you entered the room the mood changed from stagnant to live. Your smile and laughter is what we will miss the most. We love you Tio Monte! God Bless Your Wonderful Soul! Love Fernando, Betty, Fernie & Carlos Martinez.

Irene and Family
Our prayers and condolences to the Gonzales Family.
God Bless.

Our sincerest condolences for the family of my cousin Monte Gonzales. May he rest in peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I will always cherish the early years when we played together on 36th Street. Your family title was uncle but in my heart you were are my brother. I love you Monte. My heartfelt condolences to Irene and your children.
