Not sure what to say?

How I will miss our big bear of a guy, Monte, who always made me feel protected on our Schnauzer walks. All of us who were fortunate to know him, knew he was as gentle as he was giant, but saw his “big feet” rescue us more than once. He had an informed mind and a generous heart, matched up with a wonderful sense of humor, and walking with him and the pups nearly every day for 5 years was a true pleasure in my life. God speed, sweet man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Carol and family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of Monte's untimely passing. We have so many fond memories of the days at the TVL fields and how much Monte contributed to the TVL family. He loved being out there, helping not only his daughters but all the girls and parents involved in the league. We will always remember Monte as a big man with an even bigger heart, and we will always feel blessed for having known such a kind and generous man. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I drew my softball team's equipment from Monte for four years. He was such an imposing physical figure I was afraid to ask for an extra bat. Recently I have been lucky enough to begin a closer relationship with him . . . a great and gentle man, who raised a swell family. I miss you, Monte.

Sara,
I just read about your father. My deepest, deepest condolences to you and your family. My heartfelt prayers will be with you. Your dad was a wonderful man. Know in your heart that he will be with you where ever you go. I would love to see and talk to you.

Carol, Christine, Sara, and Daniel,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Although I didn't know Monte too well, I knew him to be a gentle soul with a very kind heart. I am sure his wonderful spirit will live on in all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Carol & family - we want to express our deepest sympathies for your loss. The loss of a loved one is probably the greatest challenge we will ever face in our life experience. I pray that the Lord will comfort you in your sorrow & know of our thoughts & prayers for you.

Monfore Famiy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow. I will always remember Monte as a warm, kind and gentle soul. I remember the years of Tri Valley softball and Monte being a dedicated dad and always helping with our teams through the years.

Carol and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Monte is a trusted friend and dedicated helper. Monte and his family provided many years of fun and good times at TVL. He so loved to help the kids and they in deed enjoyed his friendship. I will never forget his kindness and do anything attitude.

He is likely grooming Derald Adair's field and getting him the equipment for all those free softball lessons up above. Again,...
