Not sure what to say?

I did not know Monte but the memorial service was very enlightening. I knew that Monte and Karen were generous and the slide presentation proved that. 47 years of marriage in today's world is rare but showed a high level of commitment by Monte and Karen. The love of family by Monte was obvious. He has left a lot of good memories. My best to Karen who I have known from childhood as a friend and neighbor and a classmate graduating from Renton High School in 1960.

Dad, you were the best dad ever and was always proud you were my dad. I know I didn't always do the right things in life, but you loved me anyways. You gave me incredible experiences, tons of memories, lots of advice, and loved to help us in any way that you could. You are a very special father and grandfather to me, Ken, Matthew and Noah, and we will miss you very much. I love you dad and will keep our memories very close to my heart. XXOO, Love Tina

I'm not sure if you will remember us, but Joe and I have so many fond memories of the many buggy runs with the Moores and the Webbs. Monte will surely be missed but the memories will be forever with us. Our prayers to you Karen and the kids. Love, Joe and Carolyn McElrea

Uncle "Moddy".. I honestly can say that I do not remember a single time that we went camping, that we weren't with your family & Debbie & Wayne..Motorhomes loaded up tight with trailors pulling an even bigger load. Dunebuggys,Baja bugs,Sandrails,Jeeps,dirtBikes,3wheelers & quads..I have many good memories of you & my Dad(Your "sweetie")teasing each others 'riding abilities' as you raced up the dunes in your paddle-tires & the Mtn's in your terra-tires..And then again later in the night...

Uncle Monte, I am so blessed to have you in my life. As a young girl, I thought you were the most handsome man in the world (besides my dad) and you treated me so special. You were always quiet, serious, and a very good person and you set a great example for everyone. I am so glad that we had all the fun that we had camping with family and riding in the sand and enjoying the family get togethers. I especially loved it when you sang at the campfires. You are loved so much by everyone. You...

You know how much I love you and you will surely be missed. I was so blessed to have you as a brother and I will see you in heaven, when I am called home. I'm sure the Lord called you home because he had projects for you to do. We will continue to have family reunions in your honor and they will not be as fun as yours. Love Sister Dorothy.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.
