Monterro was born on April 6, 1985 and passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Monterro was a resident of Georgia at the time of passing. " Terro", moved to Bartlett, Tennessee, at age 8, where he attended Shelby County Schools. Monterro began his career in the Navy with Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 14 (HM-14), and spent three years between 2014 and 2017 stationed in Norfolk, Va., while attached to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit.
My thoughts and prayers are with the boys and family. I had the great pleasure of meeting this beautiful family, and being a part of the boys village.
Mr Friend will be greatly missed.
