Andy, I just learned of this news. I am so profoundly sorry. Mr. Walker was such a nice, wonderful person--as was your mother. I will hold dear in my heart all those wonderful summers our families visited and had good times together. You have my deepest condolences. --Teresa

Mr.Walker was my fourth grade teacher at Perkins Elementary, he had such a great influence on me and many others. What a great role model, after 60 years of being out of his class he vividly remembered me, when I saw him at the grocery store. Rest in Peace and power What a great Qmega man was he.

Sending condolences to the family, friends, and village who are mourning the loss of local icon Mr. Mordecai Walker.

Andy, my friend, I am saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. The imprint he leaves on the community, the church and the students who were fortunate enough to be taught by him will be remembered for years to come. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
