Not sure what to say?

One of the smartest and compassionate men I have ever met. He saved me from years of suffering back in 1985 and I will never forget him.

Aunt Marilyn and Michelle: I would love to talk to both or either one of you. I was just sent a message from the Guest Book, I guess they will be closing it down shortly here. I read through the entries; Uncle Morey was quite the surgeon! I miss all of you and fondly remember family vacations, the time I went to school with Michelle in Williston, your german shepard, putting on Carol Burnette inspired skits for the family and grandma and grandpa's...always a great family time. Sad how we...

Aunt Marilyn: Was looking for you via the internet and came across this article...was so sorry to hear Uncle Morey has passed. I hope you are alright, and would love to hear from you sometime...I still remember the time my family visited yours in Vermont when Lance opened his leg up tobogganing in the woods behind the house with Michael, and Uncle Morey took care of him. Still so sad about Michael. Hope Michelle is well, also. Love, Lisa Scorse Nilsen

Marilyn and Michelle, we are thinking of you often. This is from Lu and Put. I wrote on this earlier and I have tried to call but I do need your phone number or your address. I would love to be able to be in contact with you personally. We had so many wonderful trips together. We send you our love and our sympathy. My phone # is 802-496-3705

Dr. Moreland trained me as an Orthopedic surgeon many years ago. I think about him almost daily as I also wear "character" ties to work every day to put my younger patients at ease. He was one of the most influential surgeons I had the opportunity to work with. While he may be gone his legacy will continue with me for many more years. Thank you Dr. Moreland for making me the doctor that I am today

I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Morey and to have benefited from his wisdom, his calm and friendly (always!) demeanor, his humor, his erudition, and his supportive and kind way of working with others. I hope the great affection for him that so many, many of us will carry forever, can give you some small comfort on those days when missing him hurts.

Marilyn, I am so shocked to read about Morey. I saw him a few years ago when he spoke up at FAHC. It was so good to see him. He looked great. I am so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of operating with him in the 70'S and 80's. It was always fun to work with him, always compassionate to his patients and the staff in the OR. He will be sorely missed by many people.
May God's Peace and Word confort you and your family.
