I met Morgan in 2012 while participating in the Legacy Youth Leadership Program at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. Senior year of high school wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for Morgan. We were both only children and were inseparable the summer before senior year of high school. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. To Morgan´s mother and family members I was a neighbor of Morgan. She was a sweet young lady respectful, kind, caring, with a beautiful smile and soul. She was in the same age group as soon of my grandchildren and you could tell by the way she talked to me that you, her mother, had raised her well.
