Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of Morrie's passing! Such a special man and such a wonderful family. Morrie and Phyllis were so welcoming to me when I lived in New York, I remember taking the train down, Morrie picking me up in a jaguar and watching the sunset from their deck while eating caviar for the first time! I was on the email list for Morrie's poems and I have saved every one. My love to the family, so sorry for your loss.

Dear Phyllis, Babs and Robbie-
Bob and I are so sorry to hear about Morrie's passing. We're glad we got to know him and agree that he was a fascinating guy. I've especially enjoyed reading his poems over the past several years. They always made me reflect on life and family. Our thoughts are with you.

REST IN PEACE

Babs,
I was just speaking with a chip delivery man on Sat. July 31st and telling him that I grew up with the family who invented Cheez Doodles. My condolences to you and your family.

Jane Wasley - California

Morrie was a unique man far beyond his involvement with baked cheese snacks. Pilot, poet, seeker, golfer, Morrie was also a dedicated husband for 63 years, proud father and grandfather. He was supportive of me and Babs and Jaz in all our travels and travails. He will be missed, but his inspiration will live on.

I remember Morrie fondly from Torah study at TBE. I also recall that I had to leave the mosque shortly before his talk on the Jewish views of fasting, so that I could go an give birth to my daughter. He was always supportive and kind and so knowledgeable. Zichrono L'vracha, Rabbi Susie Heneson Moskowitz

Dear Phillyis and Family,
It was a pleasure to have met and known Morrie for all these years. I began attending Temple Beth's Torah Study about 10 years ago and was the youngest attendee at the time. From day one Morrie made me feel welcome. Upon learning of his poetry, both the torah parasha poems, and the weekly poems that he graciously sent via email to those who had requested to be added to that list. In the past few weeks, I have had the pleasure and honor to read Morrie's poems...

My condolences to Tio Pipa's family. Jenny Pinto is a very sweet friend of mine. She speaks of her Uncle Tio with much love and respect. I'm sure would be proud of her.

My Uncle Morrie and as I called him Tio Pipa. He will be missed. Wonderful man. Gray beard, soothing voice, funny smile. I love you Tio Pipa and will always remember you. Thank you for being there for the family. A Great Man.
