Not sure what to say?

I met Steve at SBC. We shared a lot of laughs. Some of my fondest memories of Steve were at "The Store". Steve's satiric tone would get us all started. John P, Terrance H, and I would tell jokes until our eyes watered and our sides hurt. I'll miss you Steve.

I came to know Steve through his sister, Wendy, when she and I were in college together. I remember Steve as a warm, caring, compassionate young man who smiled with such sincerity that his eyes twinkled and smiled too. He had a way of making people feel welcomed and special. I remember that he had a great sense of humor and a pleasant spirit. What wonderful attributes he has left us to aspire to….

Words can neither express the love and fondness I feel for the Fountain family...

Steve was one of my childhood best friends. There was hardly a day from 1983 to 1989 that we did not hang out together. During these past few days, I have come to realize how much Steve has shaped my life and my personality. I will take him with me wherever I go.

I miss you much, buddy.

I only knew Steve a short time but it was enough to know what a kind and gentle man he was....my heart goes out to his family. He will be missed.

Steve was a great man i looked up to him so much I loved him dearly.
