Read MoreI worked at NASA in Huntsville during the 70's. Many a Saturday we would take off in his MGB and go to courses around the state. He always wanted to play the back tees. I could play fairly well at that time so we had a good time. In the fall we would go to courses in the afternoon as they would be empty because others were watching the Tide or Auburn football. I had always hoped to play with him again.

I first met Morris many years ago at the Saturday golf tournaments sponsored by the NASA/MSFC golf club. I have played many times with Morris over the years and always enjoyed each round. He was a fine golfer. Rest in Peace my friend.

I walked many a fairway with Morris. He was always a gentleman and a pleasure to be around. He made golf more enjoyable for me and I hope I did the same for him. It is hard for me to realize he has passed. I will miss him. My sincere condolences to Melanie and the rest of his family.
