Morris "Mo" Nathaniel Wright, 55, of Glen Burnie passed away July 13, 2012 as a result of a battle with cancer. He was born to Nancy Wright and the late Thomas Wright in Washington D.C on July 29,1956. Mo was educated in the D.C. Public School System. He joined the U.S. Army in April 1975 and spent most of his career as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He retired as a Sergeant First Class in June 1995 after serving 20 years. In May 1995 he joined the Baltimore County Police Department and was assigned to Wilkens Precinct. Mo became a Detective in the Narcotics Division and retired in July 2005. Mo enjoyed talking, telling jokes, and spending time with his family. Once you got him talking he could go on for hours. He had a love for dogs, gardening, and drawing. Music could motivate him to do anything, he would even dance while watering his plants. This man was known as a "Night Hawk" he would wait for the moon light to wash his truck and mow the lawn. He was also known for being the neighborhood "Watch Dog", anything that was going on he knew about or investigated until he found out. Mo had a presence about him that touched many people and it is those gestures of friendship, love and compassion that will continue to be evident in the lives he touched.
