Not sure what to say?

Dear Judy and family,
Mother called and told me about your dad. We are so sorry. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sherrie (Sweat) Waller, Ann Sweat

Dear Marge and Children, I have loved the fact that Morris and I were introduced when I was a new student nurse and he was an administrator at Memorial Baptist, then that I worked with him at Irving Community Hospital and worshipped with him at Plymouth Park Baptist. He and Marge were so gracious to welcome me in to the big house on O'Connor. I loved his leadership and down-home goodness. I will miss him. God bless you all.

Dear Marge and Family - you have my sincere sympathy. Morris was such a fine man and an asset to Irving. Mike and I always had such respect for him through the years. It was a joy when we lived in Irving and went to church with you as well as other activities. There must be many happy memories to comfort each of you.

We only met Morris and Marge 10 years ago when we became a part of Plymouth Park Baptist Church. We joined the SS department where Marge taught the women's class, and Morris was a very faithful member and participant in the men's class. Even though we did not know him personally, at the time, we voted for Morris each time he ran for public office in Irving. He was an excellent councilman and mayor. Irving will long fondly remember this wonderful man of faith, ethics, and morals. We're...

My Mayor...a great friend...and a fine gentleman...I love you...rest in peace.

I worked for the City of Irving from 1993 to 2007, and had the honor of serving when Morris was a councilman and the Mayor. Morris was a true visionary for the City with his desire for public art and fountains throughout the city and his love of the Heritage District. It was a pleasure to work with him and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

May the Peace that Passes all Understanding be with the loved ones of Morris during this time. He exuded Christ in every aspect of his life and was a Godsend to the city of Irving and those who knew him or came in contact with him.
Our condolences,
