Morris Proctor

Morris Proctor, 79, of Dover, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born December 23, 1934, in Dover, to Perry and Edie Bell Allen Proctor. He was a member of the Russellville Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Proctor and a brother Burl Proctor. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, Tony and Helen Proctor and Tandy and Mary Proctor of Clarksville; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Terry and Johnny Keylon of Russellville, Tanyia and Gary Ledford of Clarksville; one brother, Virgil Proctor; one sister, Lois Pellham; 9 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God in Dover, officiated by the Rev. Ken Blundell and Rev. Don Turnipseed. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons; Jeremy Proctor, Bo Keylon, Jared Keylon, Joseph Marlow, Dwayne Marlow, and Jacob Keylon. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Busby, Kenny Larue, Carl Newman Kelly Watkins and Jeremy Snyder. The family received friends on Tuesday evening, from 5-6, at the funeral home.
