Read MoreEffervescent, generous, thoughtful, and joyous, Morrie was a fountain of energy and enthusiasm. He took to new adventures with gusto and persistence, learning and sharing as he went. He was spirited and spiritual, without the trappings of a faith. I can't imagine that anyone who spent time with Morrie would not feel special to him. He was special to me. My condolences to his family.

No way was it possible to be anywhere around this gift to us all
and not start immediately smiling. He could turn any problem into an instantaneously solvable situation. His modest gentle personality enclosed a talented and warm therapist whose wisdom benefitted the community endlessly. It is not likely that someone with his endless gifts is on our horizon.
