Morris Weitman

My deepest sympathies on the loss of your father. I met Morrie through Dr. Nancy Grimm when he came out to Edgefield Children's Center as a consultant. I learned a great deal from him when he helped me develop an instrument to measure behavior and change in families. He was also quite a fan of the Trailblazers at that time and he had season tickets with my father, another staff member at Edgefield, Wilson Hill, and another consultant, Dr. David Grove. I think they all stayed together...

I met Morrie when I began working at the Psychology department a few years ago and we started having lunch together on a regular basis. We talked of many things and I often found myself hoping that I would be as engaging and active as he was when I'm in my 80's. I shall miss our talks.
