I am so honored to be reminded and included in the wonderful memories of your Dad today. Although it's been a while since I left my Dad's business of Western Mass. Supply, Inc., in 1980, there hasn't been a time since when I either read about Great Barrington or hear about Great Barrington that I don't smile at all the memories I have of you guys from a very young age and your Mom and Dad. Tim, Tom, Jim, Lauren and Kim we are so sad to hear of Mort's passing. He was a pillar to so many and a friend to everyone. It was an honor and privelage to serve under his command on the GBFD department and I will be forever greatful for that. He was a true Hometown Hero. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families during this time of sorrow.
