Mort was a great, meaningful, and legendary figure in our family's life. I will always be grateful for his excellent work officiating at my mother's memorial service in 1983, when we were all so much younger. Great memories of fireworks and tall tales. He will be sorely missed. I've known Mort since I was born and can't imagine a world without him. So many memories asea, in the Caribbean, at Catalina, at Del Rey, at Xmas parties, at dinner parties, always with a great story and hysterical joke. Ahoy, Mortie.
