Morton N. Gondelman

I was saddened to read Morty's obituary last week as we were packing to go to California. Morty and the Gondelman's share a special place in our families collective hearts and histories. Many were employed @ Morton's Dept. store, esp. in the furs dept. And, I particularly fondly remember Morty taking me regularly to the circus @ the Garden when I was quite young and he was in college. Thinking about the many occasions - especially the sederim at the home of Morty's beloved sister, Sis Kazis and her husband, Rabbi Israel Kazis z"l - that I was privileged to share with Morty z"l and his family. I send my most sincere condolences to the entire Gondelman family.

I have fond memories of all our cousins, the Gondelmans. Especially with Jennie and Hy and my grandparents Harry and Mary Bachner. Condolences to Morty ' s family from ours.
