Deepest condolences, Robin. You may remember me calling you 20 some years ago looking for my daughter Robyn. Even though we share the same last name we do not seem to have a close relationship ancestrally, but your father was one of my many beloved instructors at PCOM. I am still inPortland and have retired from my Pediatric practice.

Mort was the very first therapist I ever saw & I only saw him one time, for some urgent guidance...way back in 1971. It was basically a plea for advice from a confused young man who was considering quitting law school, & Mort refused to accept any payment. And some 47 years later, the friend who had so long ago referred me to Mort revered him to his final days. Being worthy of such lengthy respect is remarkable.

As our neighborhood Judge of Elections, I mostly knew Dr. Herskowitz from his commitment to voting. He voted in every election including this past primary. We made a big deal about him being 100 years old and voting. I wish everyone felt the right to vote was as important as he did. May his memory be for a blessing.
