A memorable professor who opened our minds to innovative ideas. Rest in Peace!

Deepest condolences, Robin. You may remember me calling you 20 some years ago looking for my daughter Robyn. Mort was the very first therapist I ever saw & I only saw him one time, for some urgent guidance...way back in 1971. It was basically a plea for advice from a confused young man who was considering quitting law school, & Mort refused to accept any payment. As our neighborhood Judge of Elections, I mostly knew Dr. Herskowitz from his commitment to voting. He voted in every election including this past primary. We made a big deal about him being 100 years old and voting. I wish everyone felt the right to vote was as important as he did. May his memory be for a blessing.
