I just learned of the death of my dear friend, Morty Manus. Morty was more than just a publisher to our family. He and Iris are our friends. He was like an uncle to me. His advice was always right on the money. I will miss him. Without Morty's inspiration, there never would have been a Palmer-Hughes Accordion Course or the Alfred Masterwork series of scholarly editions of music.
