Not sure what to say?

I was a patient of Dr. Laffitte's from 1965 until his retirement. A great man and a great doctor. I extend my sympathy to the Laffitte family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Laffitte when he first went to work with Dr. Fouche. Not only was he a true gentleman, he deeply cared for his patients and was a wonderful doctor. He helped me through some very difficult times 50+ years ago when I was his patient and I will always remember him as "my" doctor. My deepest sympathy to Dr. Laffitte, III and the entire family. We have all lost a very special person.

I worked with Dr. Laffitte at SCOBGYN many years ago and he was a wonderful person. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during these difficult times.

Dr. Laffitte was indeed a true gentleman.

Emma, I wanted to express my condolences over Dr Laffitte's death. I first met him while I attended USC School of Nursing as a student. He was such a good teacher and so patient with us as students. Then, I met him many times with all the Laffitte gatherings. I know you will miss him. Barbara

To all of Dr. Lafitte´s family, I was only fortunate enough to know Dr. Lafitte´s daughter, Beth and then only in school. Just from that and comments from other friends I know we all lost a great doctor, leader, father and friend. Our hearts goes out to all of you. Gina and Russell Coleman

Dr. Lafitte nor his family know me but I believe I have this straight. I think they grew up on the corner of Lockewood and Quail across from my cousins the Harden girls and Alex. I just remember my cousins always speaking highly of them. That would mean that he laneys grew up across from them on quail. Their name was unusual and who can forget the beautiful Lalla Lee. GREAT Presbyterians. I grew up in Shandon, went to Dreher, class of 79 , then fiinshed at USC and was an SAE there We know...

Mrs. Emma, Beth, Tuck, Norris, Lalla Lee and families, Deepest sympathies are extended from the Finch family to you all at this difficult time. Dr. Tucker was the patriarch of such a fine and gracious Southern family, as well as a pillar of the local community and of the medical community in Columbia. His part in forming the SCOB group late in his career has provided care to tens of thousands and women and infants in Columbia. He will be sorely missed. Please know we are thinking of you...
