Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to Emma. Your dad was a dear friend of mine and a single father like myself. You are a great person Moses and you will be missed and remembered my friend. Rest in peace.

I'm tremendously sorry that I cannot make it to the 5/17 Memorial. Moses was a colleague and a friend, a consistantly brite and positive voice in the often grumpy world of local politics. My memories of Moses also include our co-indulgence in sports outings. One sojourn took us to a Mariners game...at which Moses single-handedly began "the Wave". After several tries, he got it rolling around the entire stadium. He didn't give up and he never gave up on trying to make good happen.

So sorry for your loss. My husband Tim Rowan was, like Moses, a longtime activist in the Democratic Party, and he often spoke of Moses's dedication and desire to serve our community. Sadly, Tim died last summer, so I'm sharing this on his behalf.

A lovely leader of our neighborhood association and a deeply caring member of our community. I will miss him and try to carry on with his presence.
