Graveside Services for Mr. Ronnie Barnes, age 68, of Richton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Neely.  Mr. Barnes passed from this life on December 24, 2025 at his residence.  Bro. Don Fulmer will officiate the service.  Serving as pallbearers will be Devin Dykes, Bo Brewer, Andy Henderson, Cortney Henderson, Chad Barnes, and James Brewer.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chase Barnes and Kagan Spicer.  


Ronnie Barnes leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, loyalty, and friendship. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Ronnie had a passion for the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing. He also enjoyed mechanicing and tinkering, always finding satisfaction in working with his hands. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his love for family, and the many lives he touched.


He was preceded in death by his father, James Barnes; mother, Greta Fay Fulmer; and sister, Annette Dykes.


Ronnie is survived by his children, Chase (Shana) Barnes of Leakesville, Stephanie Spicer of Petal, Jennifer Herrin of Oak Grove, and Helen (Bo) Brewer of Richton; grandchildren, Andie Kayte Barnes, Audrey Barnes, Austyn Barnes, Kagan Spicer, Brinley Spicer, Hayden Herrin, Harlen Herrin, Madison (Bryce) Odom, and Karli Brewer; great grandchildren, Levi, Beau, and Emily Odom; dad, Don Fulmer; stepmother, Mary Nell Barnes; sisters, Carol Jean (Lavelle) Henderson of Piave, Jerolyn Barnes of Neely, Laura (Don) Wade of Sand Hill, and Jamie (Scott) Herring of Richton; brother, Bobby (Brenda) Barnes of Pleasant Hill; and a host of nieces and nephews.
