                          9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.


Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery of Seminary for Mr. Ross Sumrall, age 80, of Moselle. Mr. Sumrall passed from this life on February 2, 2026, at Comfort Care of Laurel. Bro. Charles Brady will officiate with burial following the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Sumrall, Dereck Sumrall, Johnathan Brady, Brad Brady, Jesse Smith and Nathan Gardner.


Ross was born on May 8, 1945, in Mississippi to Elbert and Ethel Rainey Sumrall. Throughout his working career Ross was a farmer, mechanic and a road foreman for Warren Paving for many years.   


He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Haley Sumrall and brothers, Dawson Sumrall and Baby boy Sumrall.


He is survived by his daughters, Beth Byrd (Wesley) of Moselle and Aimee Sumrall of Petal; sons, Eric Sumrall (Peggy) and Matthew Sumrall both of Moselle; sisters, Denese Sumrall of Moselle, Gwen Brady (Charles) of Ellisville, Doris Peden (Jim) of Moselle and Fredna Gardner (Tom) of Seminary; grandchildren, Magen Chambers (Wes) of Clearview, FL, Tyler Sumrall (Sydney) of Moselle and Ross Sumrall (Sarah) of Moselle, and great-grandchildren, Oakley Sumrall, Henley Sumrall, Wyatt Chambers, Haisley Sumrall, Bentley Sumrall and Elijah Byrd.


Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
