Chisolm's Family Funeral Home and Florist - Killeen Obituary

A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held in conjunction with a benefit pool tourney at 2 pm on July 4 at Tipsy Cues in Harker Heights, TX. In Lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness or a game of pool in his memory. Rest in peace, Bobby. Hook ‘em, and you will be missed.

We are saddened to announce the passing of Bobby James Holder on June 10, 2025. Born on August 15, 1974, Bobby was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his love of 17 years Tabatha Grimley; his parents, Jess and Peggy Holder; his brother, Terry Holder; his sons, Christopher Holder and Anthony Myers and a large extended family, including his aunt Joy, uncle Jack, and aunt Sabine.

An Army veteran, Bobby faced the challenges of his service with strength and carried a deep commitment to his family and community. Generous and hardworking, Bobby always prioritized the well-being of those around him.

Bobby had a passion for pool, a game he loved not only for its competition but also for the connections it fostered. He was a skilled player, a patient teacher, and an active member of his pool community. He was also an avid Longhorn sports fan, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer them on and often wearing burnt orange or sporting UT gear.

Bobby was a talented craftsman who took pride in his tile work, creating pieces that combined utility and artistry.

Bobby’s sense of humor and playful nature brought joy to everyone he met. His kindness, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends will not be forgotten.
