SAIN, MR.JOE – Of age 67, died Monday, February 10, 2025.


Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Brother James Ray officiating.

Visitation 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.


Mr. Joe Sain was born on April 1, 1957 in Bolivar, Tennessee, the son of Sylvester and Berl Sain.


Joe was a resident of Flint, Mi and great comedian of his family. He was a construction worker and enjoyed parties, fishing, taking walks and eating soul food. He loved his family and friends, especially friends at St. John Street area all of them were like his family.


Mr. Joe Sain leaves to cherish his memory, son, Demetric (Mellisa) Deboise;


Grandchildren, Samuel Wilson, Akla Wilson, Aniha Wilson;


Great-granddaughter, Anyla Williams of Flint;


2 brothers, Carl (Sherie) Sain, Terjaunia (Shalonda) Sain of Tampa, FL;


2 sisters, Felicia (Michael) Burton, Linda (Roy) Gray Brown of Flint;


Nieces and nephews, Tyrance Sain, Kashuna Rodriguez, Marquetta Clements, Kenya Sain, Willia Sain, Jr., Michael Jones Sain, Phillip Johnson, II, Brielle Sain, Dariona Sain, Tonicia Burton, Carietha Paschel, Jennifer Holley, Stephen Sparks, Consueler Coleman and Chadwick Coleman, Sr.;


uncles, Roy Jones, Thomas McTizic, Wesley (Maxine) McTizic, Booker Sain and Forrest (Joyce) Sain;

Mr. Joe Sain was preceded in death by parents, Berl and Sylvester Sain; grandparents, Williams and Mary Sain, Buford and Earl McTizic; great-grandparents, John Wesley and Billie McTizic, Grant and Rose Abbott; brothers, Johnny Sain, Willie Sain, Sr.; sister-in-law, Johnny Mae Sain and niece, Tremisha Jackson.
