Malik D’Kwan Lynch was born October 21, 1996 in Urania, LA to Jammy Lynch and the late Dennis Wayne Forest.  He was a resident of Winnfield, LA until his family moved to Dallas, TX.  At a young age, he joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was baptized there.

Malik attended South Oak Cliff High School where he graduated in 2015.  While attending high school there he played basketball and football because he loved sports.  After graduating he attended Texas Southern University.  He worked at Westside Rehabilitation where he was a Direct Care Provider.  Malik was the father of one son, Sekani Jaiden Gold, who was his pride and joy.  To all who knew him, he was a funny loving young man who had a passion for music and loved his family.

Malik D’Kwan Lynch completed this leg in the race of life on Friday, September 22, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Wayne Tousant, fraternal grandmother, Annie B. Tatum, paternal grandmother Sylvia C. Paul and paternal grandfather Jimmie L. Lynch.

He was loved by many and he leaves to cherish his memory:  his mother, Jammy R. Lynch, one son, Sekani Gold; one sister, LaChastity (Cartize) Sword of Alexandria, LA; one brother, O’Bryan Holden of Winnfield, LA; two aunts, Temico (Terrance) Myers of Winnfield, LA and Velma (Ronnie) Paul of Cottonport, LA; two uncles, Luther (Shirley) Forest of Baytown, TX and Alfred (Laketha) Hester of Forney, TX.  Special friends and family that impacted his life, Special Lady Emoine Gold; God Father Lamont (Rose) Paul, like brothers:  Kavon Fowler and Terrance Myers all of Alexandria, LA; Edward Anderson of Dallas, TX and Savon Guildry of Tampa, FL; God Mother, Patricia White of Winnfield, LA.  He also had a host of family and friends that loved him dearly.
