Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2020 for Mr. Marlon Ray Byrd, age 70, of Lucedale, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Byrd passed away on March 4, 2020. Bro. Kurt Sullivan and Bro. Greg Hillman will officiate with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Garret Hillman, Cole Hillman, Braxton Byrd, Cliff Roberts, Scott Sowell, Kevin Byrd and Keaton Byrd as Honorary Pallbearer.
Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Byrd; parents, Raphael and Nelda Byrd; and brother, Homer Byrd. He is survived by his daughters, Chastity Hillman of Lucedale, Jennifer (Joseph) Whisenhunt of Byrd, MS; son, Kevin (Jessica) Byrd of Byrd, MS; grandsons, Garret and Cole Hillman, Braxton and Keaton Byrd; granddaughters, Carson (Cliff) Roberts, Makayla, Makenzie and Brynnlee Whisenhunt; great-grandsons, Brantley and Braylon Roberts.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2020, 6:00 p.m. - until at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
