Mrs. Geraldine Gardner age 84 of Dyersburg, TN. died Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Okeena Health & Rehabilitation Center in Dyersburg, TN. Arrangements are entrusted to McCreight Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 1: 00p.m-1:55p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church 208 St. Geroge Ave. in Dyersburg, TN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00p.m. with Pastor David E. Holly, Sr. officiating. Geraldine was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN. Pallbearers will be Victor Harris, Jeff Garnder, Jr., B.J. Garnder, Kenyon Garnder, Hozie Garnder. Survivors include her husband William Gardner of Dyersburg, TN., Sons, Robert Gardner of Dyersburg, TN., Jeffery Gardner of Dyersburg, TN. Two Brothers -in -laws, Rev. Robert (Oma) Garnder, Tiptonville, TN. Barry (Cythina) Garnder, Dyersburg, TN. (6) Grandchildren. Geraldine was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Walker. My condolences to Mr. William, Jeff and Robert. I was blessed to be able to see Mrs. Geraldine and Mr. William at Pilgrim Rest when I came home last June. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Our family had known her family for years. She and her Mom, Mrs. Mildred can now sing in the heavenly choir together.
