Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Jones and Son Chapel, for Mrs. Hazel R. McLain, age 90, of Ovett.  Bro. Chris Cooper will officiate the service with burial following at Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brad McLain, Brian McLain, Marty Hinton, Josh McLain, Colten McLain, Eddie Anderson, and Dylan Palmer as alternate.  Honorary pallbearers will be Riley Hinton and Konner Hinton.

Mrs. McLain was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Ovett.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who loved to cook and can.

Mrs. McLain was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. "Cotton" McLain; son, James W. McLain; parents, George and Mattie Blackburn; brothers, George Jr., Willie D.,  Johnny Ross, and Gary; and sisters, Helen and Lois.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Breazeale of Richton, Rita McCardle of Richton, Debbie (Keith) Hinton of Ovett, and Heather (Chris) Cooper of Clara; 10 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and sister, Marie Smith of Meridian.
