It is with sad hearts that we say goodbye to a friend to all, Mrs. Ophelia Smith. Mrs. Ophelia, 75, of Belzoni, MS, closed her eyes to rest eternally, Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, in Jackson, MS.


The public visitation will be Friday, January 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Belzoni, MS.


The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at the Upper Room Fellowship Ministries, in Belzoni, MS. The body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.  


The burial will be at Weeping Mary Church Cemetery, in Isola, MS.


Officiating: Rev. Morris Allen, Pastor


Mrs. Ophelia’s beautiful memories will live on forever in the hearts of her sons, Kenneth Robinson and Willie Smith, daughters, Mildred Swecicki, Yolanda Smith, Veronica Smith, and Billatoyia Garrett, brothers, JoeNathan Robinson, Eddie Harris, and Rev. Andre Harris, sisters, Alberta Harris, Loretta Billingsley and Vera Stewart, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives, close friends, Weeping Mary MB church family, Pastor Rev. Morris Allen & Lady Audrey Allen.
