Services for Mrs. Ruby Goldman Kitchens, age 90, of Laurel will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Kitchens passed from this life on July 5, 2022 at her residence.  Bro. Tim Mayeux and Bro. Greg Richardson will officiate the service with burial to follow in Brown Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mike Ponder, Alec Pearson, Chris Cromwell, Kimble Coats, James Knight, Bryan Yarbrough, and Ellis Knight as alternate.  Honorary pallbearers will be Asher Cromwell, Maddox Pearson and Madden Pearson.


Mrs. Kitchens was preceded in death by her husband, Print Kitchens; parents, Daniel Mack and Ethel Lee Goldman; son, Jerry Kitchens; brothers, William Goldman, John Goldman, Howard Goldman, and Ray Goldman; and grandchildren, Jason Kitchens and Tiffany Ponder Coats.


She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Tisdale of Slidell, LA, Linda Orman and Dorothy (Ricky) Ponder, both of Laurel; brother, Roy V. Goldman of Moss Point; grandchildren, Diane (Bob) Shoemake, James (Mary) Walters, Melissa (David) Page, Thomas Tisdale, Michelle Murray, Mack Kitchens, and Susan (Fayssal) Quali; great grandchildren, Dustin (Ashley) Walters, Olivia (Billy) Pitts, Rebekah (Brandt) Castilaw, Hunter (Keri) Smith, Alli (Chris) Cromwell, Erin (Brody) Arender, Leah (Bryce) Smith, Anna (Alec) Pearson, Evan (Kristin) Page, Madie Coats, Pricillia Mata, Dixie Lee, Jacob Lee, and Karlee Lee; and great great grandchildren, Asher Cromwell, Avery Walters, Maddox Pearson, Madden Pearson, Davey Page, Jaycee Cromwell, and Maycee Cromwell.


Mrs. Kitchens was a member of the Glade Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Laurel.


Visitation will be Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:30 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton.
