Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Unity Baptist Church for Mrs. Edna Reeves Brewer, age 84, of Leakesville.  Mrs. Brewer passed from this life on December 28, 2021 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg.  Bro. David Grayson and Bro. Walter Mixon will officiate the service with burial following in Unity Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brady Brewer, Naaman Renard, Adam Brewer, B.J. Clark, Trey Holifield, Taylor Ashe, and Pacer Frierson.

Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gavin Brewer; parents, Roy and Mildred Reeves; and brother, Wayne Reeves.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by her children, Dale (Ramona) Brewer of Sand Hill, Joanne (Pedro) Moreno of Petal, Dana (Jerry) Holifield of Petal, and Chris (Leah) Brewer of Leakesville; grandchildren, Adam, Amy, Mackenzie, Jessa, Bre, Julia, Trey, Nikki, Wynn, Brady, and Maleah; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Landreneau of Bogue Chitto, Barbara Edwards of Wesson, Sharon McCaffery of Bogue Chitto, and Richard Reeves of Bogue Chitto.

Mrs. Brewer worked for the MS Extension Service Office in Leakesville for 25 years.  She was a faithful, dedicated member of Unity Baptist Church as well as a member of the Greene County Quilters.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to many.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Unity Baptist Church.
