Mrs. Lula Mae Johnson
November 5, 1934 - May 27, 2023
We extend our condolences to the Johnson and Harris family. The late Mrs. Lula Mae Johnson, 88, of Silver City, Mississippi, transitioned on May 27, 2023 at UMMC in Jackson, Mississippi.
The public visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Belzoni, Mississippi.
The Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at White Star M.B. Church, Belzoni, Mississippi. The body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
The burial will be at Humphreys County Memorial Garden, Belzoni, Mississippi.
Officiating: Rev. Dr. Donald Washington
She leaves to be cherish her memories son, Charlie Ray Johnson, sister Bernice Boykins, loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and close friends.
We the staff at Total Healthcare Adult Daycare would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Lula Johnson. It saddened our hearts to hearing about her passing. Mrs. Johnson will be missed by both staff and the participants at the daycare. We extend words of comfort that even in our darkest hours, GOD is still there. Though weeping does endure for a night, joy cometh in the morning.
