Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Fairfield Baptist Church of Moselle for Mrs. Shirley Ann Daughtrey, age 82, of Seminary. Mrs. Daughtrey went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 25, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Ramsey Couta will officiate with the burial to follow in the Fairfield Cemetery.


Shirley was born on June 27, 1943, in Laurel, MS to B.F. and Mamie Dobson Carter. She was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a friend to all.


She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Billie Sue Carter and Laura Kathryn Bishop.


Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Harold Daughtrey of Seminary; children, Tammy Sullivan (Randall) of Seminary and Tony Daughtrey of Seminary; grandchildren, Zack Sullivan (Stephanie) of Seminary and Benji Sullivan (Shelbi) of Ellisville; great-grandchildren, Crew Sullivan and Wayne Sullivan both of Seminary, Caven Sullivan and Ellie Sullivan both of Ellisville; brother, Bobby Carter (Patricia) of Moselle; sister, Shelia Carter of Moselle and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.


Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Fairfield Baptist Church of Moselle.


Arrangements are being handled by Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle.
