Vickie Elaine Franks, affectionately known as “Sis. Vickie,” was born on March 1, 1952, in Beaumont, Texas. A proud Beaumont native, she grew up rooted in faith, family, and community. These values shaped her life and ministry for more than seven decades.
Vickie was educated in the Beaumont Independent School District and graduated from Charlton Pollard High School in the Class of 1970. From an early age, she embraced her Christian faith. Though a believer since birth, she rededicated her life to Christ in 1982, marking the beginning of a powerful and purposeful walk that impacted countless lives.
She was widely known throughout the community as “Sister Vickie,” serving as a radio station manager and beloved on-air personality for Gospel 990 KZZB. Through the airwaves and beyond, she ministered with boldness, compassion, and unmistakable anointing. Vickie faithfully served as an evangelist, prophetess, prayer warrior, and teacher of the Gospel, never hesitating to pray for others or speak truth in love. She further shared her testimony and faith journey as the author of Supernaturally Blessed.
In 2005, Vickie relocated to Las Vegas, where she resided until 2022, before returning to Beaumont, Texas, where she spent her final years surrounded by family.
Fashionable, bold, virtuous, and anointed, Vickie lived her faith out loud. She was known for her joyful spirit, love of dancing, warm hospitality, and famous peach cobbler. Above all, she cherished studying the Word of God and spending precious time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. Her favorite scripture, Romans 8:28, was not only a verse she quoted but a truth she believed.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Cormier and Jordene Mack; her beloved son, Hardy Malvo, Jr.; and her brothers, Robert Mollette, Gene Fontenot, Ronnie Frank, and Donald Ray Frank.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughters: Christina Malvo; Quincee Peeples (Everett); Tabitha Dike (Peace); Jael Moody (Donald); and Victoria Allen (Montele); a sister, Consuella Roy; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many spiritual sons and daughters, extended family members, friends, and all whose lives were forever changed by her prayers, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
Vickie Elaine Franks has entered her eternal rest on January 3, 2026, at Bonne Vie Nursing Home in Port Arthur, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of faith, obedience, and love. Her life was a testimony that God is faithful, prayer is powerful, and purpose fulfilled echoes into eternity.

I met Vicki when she worked in the prison ministry, a wonderful woman of God, also a Prophetess that spoke true things into your life. It was a pleasure working with her and being in her presence. She was a blessing to me and others.
