Mel, Gayle and the entire Mocabee family,
It was with great honor that Hutch and I were able to be a part of the memorial service honoring your son, Sean, a true hero. We grieve with you and continue to pray for all of you as this holiday season takes on a different perspective. Know you all are loved!

Dear Mocabee Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Sean's passing. I too attended school with him at Oceanside High. We went our different ways after graduation. I joined and retired from the Air Force. He went into the Army. Our path's did cross once, many years ago.
He was alot of fun in High School! And gave me a hard time about my VW, except when he needed a ride!
I will miss seeing him again..

To Liz & all of Sean's Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. Sean and I went to junior High and High School together. He had a way of being the gentle, but yet fun , talented youngman he was....This past week I dug out my old year books and reflected on those years. Ever since the news of Sean's death, I have been walking around in a sudden trance...knowing that his life...

Mr & Mrs Mocabee, I am very sadden to hear of your loss. I too knew Sean from 1986 when we activated the 112th Signal Battalion. He was a great soldier then, and I can only imagine the type of leader he became. Truly one of the best. My prayers will be with you tonight.

I am very sorry for your tremendous loss, and saddened to hear of Sean's death. I have known Sean since 1986 when we were both in the 112th at Ft Bragg. He was quick to make friends. He was hard working, very professional and loved the Special Forces.

I am so very sorry to hear about Sean's passing. I remember him well from high school. He always struck me as a super funny guy who had his own way with words... I think he may have been the first person I ever heard use the word "nectars" in place of "sweet". I didn't keep in contact with Sean much after OHS, but I heard about him via friends and was always so impressed by his accomplishments. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family, especially his children. I can't imagine how...
