Dr. Munir F. Nasr

je garderai toujours de Mounir (ou plutôt 3ammo Mounir) le souvenir dun sourire perpetuel, une élégance exceptionnelle, une voix envoutante, une compassion remarquable et un charisme hors norme... Ce fut aussi la première personne à qui jai eu à faire en sortant du ventre de ma mère! Merci pour tout ces moments précieux que nous avons pu partager et Merci pour tous les conseils que tu as su me donner au cours de mes études médicales.
Tu vas beaucoup nous manquer...

My condolences to Annie and the family. Munir, a childhood friend and neighbor, was a source of information and comfort to Adel in 2014 when he was struggling with leukemia. Thank you for your friendship.

Mrs Nasr, Nadim, Sima and all AUBites please accept my most sincere condolences. I most remember his smile and his empathy. He will be missed.

Munir was so much more than a physician. He was also a caring friend and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. As my physician, I was guided me through a very tough time medically by his caring and compassionate knowledge and belief. After he retired, there were so many times I wished I could have had his guidance and advice again. I feel so blessed to have know this angel on earth and may he find peace and the same compassion in heaven...

It is with immense grief and sorrow that I write these lines as a tribute to my closest friend, Munir, whose recent passing took a toll on all of us who knew him.
My friendship with Munir covers 6 decades starting in the mid 1950s when we were teen agers growing up in Hammana and Btekhney. We have remained in touch eversince: through university, medical school and early residency training at the American University of Beirut and later in the USA: Iowa, Los Angeles, Noorfolk/Virginia...
