Not sure what to say?

Uncle Elwin, Dorothy and Edward, Bert and Valerie, Please know that my prayers are with you as you grieve this great loss. I know that Aunt Murdale lived a life of service and that you have cared for her in her last years with great love and tenderness. My love goes out to you all.

Even as a child, I enjoyed it when Rev. Leysath substituted at Grace Congregational on Sundays. To have a female minister was fascinating and inspiring to me. She and Mr. Leysath were good friends to my parents. My thoughts are with you, her family.

Dear Elwin: I am sorry to read of the loss of your wife, I know I would have enjoyed meeting her. I believe you and I are related, my grandmother was Una Parker and Winona was her cousing, m great-grandmother Abby Burditt. I would like to meet you when we are back in Vermont. Marie Gelineau, Springfield

I had the pleasure of meeting Murdale and visiting her a few times in her home - she was an engaging and fascinating woman, a wonderful story teller, and a wealth of knowledge - my thoughts go out to her family in this difficult time - she will be sorely missed by many

Murdale you taught me so much. Your lessons have stayed with me and I often hear your voice saying, "Ask them how they plan to pay for it.". My prayers are with your family.

When Murdale was in Minnesota, we had a time of strong leadership, faithfulness to the gospel, and fun.I am glad that I knew in my life.

Murdale was a wonderful mentor to the women of the MN Conference of the UCC and to me. She will be missed.

Murdale was my model for women in ministry and an example of real joy, love, and integrity. I mourn her passing and pray for her soul journey.

Murdale was dearly loved in Shrewsbury, Vermont where she served the Community Church as our pastor, mentor and friend. She was an inspiration to all and a trailblazer for sure! Our thoughts and prayers are with Elwin, Dorthy, David and the rest of the family. Love Sue Ransom-Kelley Shrewsbury Community Church
