hi, sorry for your loss, sounds like a great guy.......I cant help but wonder if were related?? my father was Kenneth john bain sr. my uncle is james bain, their father was in the royal army too, he is buried in easthartford..... I am Kenneth john bain jr. presently living in hebron ct. I too am a piper, and have living realations in Scotland. never been there, but I have scotish blood..................so close who knew,,,,,,i wonder..........again sorry for your loss
