Muriel Smith Cook, 86, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2010, joining her beloved husband of 65 years, Robert W. Cook, in eternal rest. Daughter of the late Gordon M. and Frances Smith. Survived by many nieces and nephews. A native of New Orleans and a resident of River Ridge for 50 years....
Read MoreMuriel and Bob were my neighbors for 33 years. We were driveway neighbors. Always loved having them both as our neighbors. Sweet , quiet and elegant. Bob was always a gentleman and had a wonderful personality. Would supervise all of our activities. Our children just loved both of them too !

I was an art student of Mimi's. I was privileged to be taught by her. She was an excellent teacher. I visited her at the nursing home a few weeks back, and planned to see her during the holiday season. She will be deeply missed.
