I can truly say that I am proud to have known Mrs Crusoe and had her as part of my family. She was a wonderful mentor and friend. Mrs Crusoe taught me more than I will ever know about the beach and life itself after many long walks on the shore. Almost 30 years have passed since those walks and I still have boxes of shells that move with me wherever I go. I will always have a place for her in my heart as she was a truly influental friend.

I will really miss Mrs. Crusoe. I practically grew up on the beach at St. Teresa and I remember all of the good times that we had there. She was almost like a second mom to me. Robert

My prayers go out to the family of Mrs. Crusoe. She was a very close friend of my grandmother's and I remember visiting her many times at the beach,..and I always had fun at her house. My grandmother has past as well, so take comfort knowing that muriel is entering into a place filled with friends...I know that they will both take care of each other! Take Care.

I'm sorry to hear of her passing. We worked together many years at Southwestern State Hospital. I will miss her dearly. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Jon and family, I am sad for the loss of your mother, and everyones loss of such a talented, dynamic, charming, and downright interesting person. I will always remember her capacity for mischief, in having me think the large black dog had stolen my boots one evening! In spite of serious times, she found a place for humor!

I had the pleasure of meeting Muriel many years ago through mutual friends, Bill and Gwen Bailey. We roomed together on a Bible Study tour abroad and spent eleven delightful days together.
Now, she could keep you up talking at nights but we had a lot of talking to catch up on!!!!
Visited occasionally in her home and at the beach house. Knew where her "Grapes" was stored. She was lots of fun and also had a very serious side to her personality.
Thinking of you in your loss of one more smart GRAND LADY.

Carolyn, Jon and family I am so terribly sorry to read of your mother's death. She was wonderful woman. It has been a long time since you came out to my grandfather Harvey Parker's farm but I remember the visits and friendship that our families shared.
Mrs. Crusoe gave me my first piece of grown-up jewelry for graduation when everyone else saw me as little girl, I still have it 41 yrs later. She was a special person to me.
