Muriel C. Hansen

Muriel lived across from my folks at Beaver Lake and when I had Hodgkins Disease in 1981-82, she would help out taking me to my chemo treatments with her very shy grandaughter. She was always so encouraging and still called me every Christmas to see be sure that I hadn't gotten cancer again and to also check on my husband Dick. I didn't get to tell her that I had breast cancer in June but it was caught very early, got by with just radiation therapy and am now on my way to recovery. This...

Muriel was a former neighbor of ours when we lived on Elkhart Lane.Even after we retired and left the state always kept in touch with her at Christmas time. She will be missed.

I remember growing up across the street from Muriel. She was always so nice. As a teenager I would mow her lawn and shovel her snow. She was always a good friend and neighbor. She will be missed.
