I knew Muriel when she and her then-husband, Don, lived in Flagstaff, and she had just given birth to her first daughter, Ariel. We lost contact after she and Don divorced and she moved to Phoenix. I loved her dearly.

Ariel, Stephanie, Sharlot & families,
My heart goes out to all of you. Your Mother was one of my favorite people. I learned so much from being a part of her life and yours as well. I remember going to your house for St Luke's parties when our mothers worked together.

I was saddened to read that Muriel had passed. She was a mentor to me and gave me my first opportunity to be a manager at St. Luke's. She meant so much to so many people. She had so many interests in areas other than nursing. What a loss to the whole community. My sincere condolences.

I was very sorry to read of Muriel's passing. I worked with Muriel for many years at St. Luke's Hospital. She was an outstanding and inspiring leader and I have many fond memories of those years. My prayer's for her daughters at this time. She will be missed.

I am sorry to learn of Muriel's passing. When I worked with her at St. Luke's in the early '80s, I was grateful for her leadership and her kindness. We reconnected when I wandered into Kitchen Classics one day, and she forever improved my cooking skills. Still later, I was surprised and delighted to learn she lived just down the block from us. My grown children still talk about the pig roast in the pit in her yard one year! Please accept my sympathy as you mourn her passing and celebrate her...
