Dearest Muriel, How I miss you and our chats, cards and letters. Last week a friend here in the nursing home where I live, a woman who used to walk with me died at age 97. I thank God that I still have my memories and enjoyed rereading your accomplishments in life. Treated now for heart failure and vascular disease, I am not very active and am listed as a fall risk but I still find joy in each day as you would advise me to do. Still loved and missed so much. Now that I'm 80, Aunt Muriel, I see things in a different light but always with the sweet, loving light of God shining on them. I sign as daughter 'cause that's how close I feel to you.

Dear Muriel,You are still so very missed. Our chats and laughing with each other, sharing bits of our lives. I pray that you are looking down from Heaven and guiding me as you always did until we meet again. With much love from Andrea.

Muriel was my aunt, very beloved and honored with respect and good memories, albeit not enough. I missed not being able to see her for many years but loved the contact we had by phone. I remember a gentle, loving woman, sweet and kind. At her mom's funeral when I was crying, she held me close and brushed off my concerns of "messing" up her pretty suede coat. She will always be missed by me.
