Not sure what to say?

Her life is one that will be celebrated by all those she influenced.

I worked for Mickey at the Shore Area YMCA and held the utmost respect and admiration for her. She was a genuine Christian person who positively affected the lives of so many people...adults and children alike. What a wonderful legacy she has left! I am fortunate to have known and worked with her!

My family and I knew Mickey through the Shore Area YMCA. I first met her when I was in her swim class. I went on to become a member of the YMCA's Leaders Corps. My father, mother, and brother all taught at the Y over the course of many years. I think Mickey would have been happy to know that I went on to be a US Swimming swim coach. She will be remembered with great fondness by me and the rest of the Schroeder family.

Mickey & Ken were very good friends with my entire family from the early 50's and through the years. I attended the very early Oceanport rec program she ran during the summers, and she taught all the kids how to swim at the small beach on the west end of Pocono Ave. Mickey had a heart as big as all outdoors and her life endeavors and accomplishments were proof of that. Some of my most memorable moments came from knowing both Ken and Mickey through the years.
Yes,she will be sorely...

I knew Mickey from the St. Luke's Lenten
Lunches and MMC Cardio-Rehab. Always greeted you with a smile and a pleasure to talk to. Marcia, you have lost a very dear friend.

Having worked with Mickey at the Y, I well know what a wonderful, productive life she's led.

Sincere condolences to all of you.

I HAVE SUCH FOND MEMORIES OF MICKEY FROM
THE OCEANPORT PLAY GROUND 55 YEARS AGO
SHE WILL BE REMEMBERED ALWAYS
