Not sure what to say?

7 years gone now and Murl stays in our thoughts and hearts. I hope his kids and wife are doing well!

Jolene and Emily, you have our sympathies. May God's love surround you. Just found out at the YMCA last night that Murl had died. God's peace to you.

Jolene, our sympathy to you and your family. May God's love give you peace and strength in the following days. Vern and Kathy (Ubben) Nelson

I lost contact with Murl after High School with both of us going different ways in our careers. I feel lucky to have spent those few years around Murl. He was a class act and had many talents. He installed a complete new engine in my car in his parents back yard. His best attribute was his character and since of humor. Dear Jolene and family,
We are saddened to hear of Murl's passing and know that together you fought the battle against cancer, a tough road to travel. We hope you are comforted by the memories of your life together.
Blessings and peace to you and yours,

Murl was one of my very nicest friends and he was my Accounting Mentor at CWSC. He was a brilliant accountant and I will miss his friendly demeanor for the rest of my life. Rest in Peace my good friend.

Jolene and Emily,
Sheila and I were so sorry to hear to hear that Murl has passed. You are both in our prayers.

It's fitting that Bill Craddock's entry was the first, as he and Murl are inextricably linked in my memories of Murl in high school. Murl's gentleness and sense of humor never failed to put a smile in my heart when we met in the hallways, and the world is a bit smaller for his passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

Halloween 2013

My friend Murl......lover of good times, good friends and life. Fifty years ago, we laughed, schemed and dreamed. My greatest memories of Murl were of his good nature, his wonderful family and his friendship. Still to this day I remember his powerful soul, his sense of humor and his strong spirit....I miss him and will never forget him!
