I just found this and wanted to share a message with Joanne, Steve and Lois. You all came to Mason when I was about ten and our families became close friends. Our dads worked tirelessly on the new church and in so many other ways and our moms nurtured us and our church family too. We were close friends, especially Lois and Steve and I... lots of good times at your house(s), church, camp, Cedar Point and so much more. It was a special time. I remember Murl as one of my favorite pastors in Grass Lake Federated Church. I just found out he had passed and wanted to leave my condolences to the family. He was a great man.

Murl, you are one of a kind. It truely was a blessing knowing you. I will forever remember your stories.
